First, the reasons why stainless steel pipes rust
1. When dust from other metal elements or attachments of different metal particles accumulate on the surface of stainless steel, electrochemical reactions are prone to occur and cause rust.
2. When organic juice (fruits and vegetables), water, and oxygen adhere to the surface of stainless steel, organic acids will be formed and cause rust.
3. When decorating a house, the mineral or acid-base dust in the house falls on the surface of the stainless steel pipe and becomes damp, which will cause rust over time. We remind everyone to take protective measures promptly before the renovation is completed.
4. When the air contains sulfides, carbon dioxide, etc. (that is, polluted air), sulfuric acid, nitric acid, etc. will be formed when encountering condensed water, which will also cause chemical corrosion.
5. Rust will also occur when chemicals, detergents, paints, sauces, oils, etc. remain on the surface.
6. Kitchen knives, scissors, and some iron products cannot be placed on stainless steel pipe fittings. Over time, they will cause rust, mildew, or discoloration.

Second, how to deal with rusty stainless steel pipes
1. Wipe it with toothpaste and it will be as bright as new. First, wipe the stained area with a soft cloth dipped in toothpaste, then wipe clean with a damp cloth.
2. Use the inner surface of the potato peel to wipe off the oil on the stainless steel pot, then wash it with hot water, and you will see a particularly bright stove.
3. Dip the head and tail of radish and cucumber shreds with a little detergent to scrub the oil stains on the stainless steel pot, and then wipe it twice with a rag dipped in water. The effect is also very good.
4. General white water stains, black mold and other areas that cannot be wiped off with a sponge can be easily wiped off by covering them with a rag dipped in vinegar for 30 minutes.
5. For grease, oil stains, and lubricating oil contamination on the surface of stainless steel, wipe it with a soft cloth and then clean it with neutral detergent ammonia solution, or special detergent.
6. For rust caused by dirt on the stainless steel surface, you can use a common anti-rust paste on the market to remove surface dirt or rust, and then clean it with clean water or weakly alkaline soapy water.
